58. Main exhibition pavilion.

Due to renovation, the pavilion is currently unavailable to visitors.

Main exhibition pavilion was opened in 2000. Its architectural form draws on the buildings specific for classical petroleum and gas industry. The hall area is 1 638 m2. It houses 3 exhibition rooms of the total area of 800 m².

Oil producing (upstream) industry room shows original tools and devices used to dig the dug wells, drilling boreholes and producing crude oil and gas, a mock-up depicting the story of the birth of the Polish petroleum industry and first oil field operations.
Refinery exhibition and petroleum products distribution room shows the control panels of the crude distillation unit (CDU), flowmeters, fuel metering devices,
a fuel dispenser of 1934.
Research, production and distribution of natural gas – this room presents the process of use of natural gas from the moment of starting geophysical and geologic
studies and research, through prospecting, production and distribution to final consumption. The room is divided into six theme boxes: Geology, Prospecting, Production,
Gas Treatment Industry and Collection by customers. The latest multimedia techniques permitted to mount an exhibition which depicts clearly the way of gas from its reservoir to our houses. The room is available also for the disabled thanks to a lift.
Lobby, where memorabilia are exhibited: plaques commemorating sponsors, the corner stone which is a compilation of the first kerosene lamp, rock from the dug
wells and the earth from the grave of Ignacy Łukasiewicz.
Lounge for visitors to have a rest with a buffet and advertising and promotion space for those donating to the Museum.
