Multistage impeller pump.

Multistage centrifugal pump driven by an asynchronous electric motor of enclosed construction, approved for use in explosive areas and marked with the ‘Ex’ sign. It consists of an inlet and outlet casing and a series of stages between them. Each basic type is designed with a certain number of pressure stages. In all pumps, power from the motor is transmitted through a flexible clutch. In refineries, they are used to pump distillation products and also to supply water to steam boilers.
