A tipper is a narrow-gauge rail car, with a box swung to one side. It is used to transport excavated or loose materials. In refineries, it is used to transport, among other things, soaps and solid residues from the refining of oils with acids or alkalis. Driven by human power or narrow-gauge locomotives.
