Tubular furnace.

Crude oil distillation is a process to separate the different hydrocarbon compounds – also called fractions – contained in crude oil.

For this purpose, the refining process uses different boiling points for each fraction.Tubular furnaces are used to heat the crude oil, consisting of several systems of pipes placed in a chamber heated by gas or liquid fuel or coal dust.  The crude oil in the tube furnace is heated to a temperature of 350 to 410° Celsius.
